I have come to the conclusion that Mother Nature is Menopausal. Normally here in Appalachia, we have 4 distinct seasons, we still do it just happens now all in one day.
It seems that Mother Nature cannot decide if it is going to be hot or cold. Hot flashes followed by night sweats which than leads to freezing. Her mood swings are off the charts with more hurricane’s, earthquakes, and tornado’s then normal.
She is stressed to the max and all her children are getting on her last nerve demanding more from her then she is able to give. Recently she has been blowing her top all over the place.
She is poked and prodded by doctors (scientists) who want to find out what is wrong with her on a daily basis. She is being drained of all her resources by men (corporations) and there is no way of replenishing them. She is having to adjust to a new phase of life and so do we her family.
What does this all mean for us?
It’s time we help our mother out. We have to learn more about what is happening and how we can change things. Here are a few videos to start with.

What is one thing you can do today to help our mother today?
Let me know in the comments.
Saw this on #InspireMeMondays Here in Northern California, we’ve had those days, cold mornings at 45 degrees, warm afternoons at 85! Have you tried the junk mail website? I toss and shred SO much junk mail! Thank you!
I agree junk mail is a pain but I have found some creative ways to recycle my junk mail by turning it into paper mache and using it in my mixed media art journal.
Love the title of this post! This spring has definitely been crazy! Thanks for the tips on how to stop global warming.
Oh my goodness, the weather here is just as crazy! Thanks for all the wonderful tips!!

My 5 year old’s new favorite thing at bedtime is making sure she doesn’t leave the water running while she brushes her teeth. 😉 I explained to her recently why we shouldn’t and she’s really good about turning it off now! It’s the simple changes we make that add up when lots of people do the same!
The simple things really do make a difference.
Hubby and I always share popcorn. 🙂 Junk mail is a problem, but I don’t get a ton. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
hugs,
Jann
Love this. I usually have a garden on my porch for summer fresh eating. Eating local as much as I can. #saturdayshuffle
Spring has been very odd here in WI, too. So many ways we can help Morher Nature…we all just need to pick a few!
This is done in such a clever and powerful way. Our weather in France is all over the place and so hard to predict which I find gets me down as I crave light and sunnier days and they should be here and not just doing the occasional tease. Great to have video resources to get the message across and we must as there is work to do! #TrafficJamLinky
Yes, we must do more to help our environment. Climate change is a reality whether people want to believe it or not and it has an impact on every one of us. This weather has my moods shifting as much as it is.
I love your use of humor to address a serious issue. And I can so relate to menopausal symptoms right now! Visiting you from the traffic jam weekend linky. laurensparks.net
Stop using paper towels and make your own. Found you on Traffic Jam Weekend Link party.
Great tip. I crochet dishcloths out of old t-shirts and use them for cleaning.
